I have an INFOSEC UPS SYSTEM surge suppressor. However, when my modem is connected via the surge suppressor, I lose the Internet tone. When I connect my modem directly, it works perfectly well but my modem is not protected from overvoltage or lightning, what should I do in this case? |

Your surge suppressor would appear to be faulty (it may have recently been subjected to massive overvoltage). If your equipment is still under guarantee, you can ask us to have it replaced. You will then have to send us the faulty surge suppressor along with the sales receipt, to the address below. Upon reception, a new appliance will be sent to you as soon as possible.

On this model, you may indeed hear a noise if the socket is not correctly set. There is an 8W to 70W potentiometer at the back to the appliance. Please refer to the product user guide to carry out the appropriate setting for your set up. The noise should disappear with the right setting.

My surge suppressor is not working any more. It is still under guarantee. What should I do?
